Higgsfield added Micro Drama Ads to its Ads Studio on 6 November 2026. You describe an ad or paste a script, pick a style, a product and an avatar, and an agent makes a short video ad built like a story: a main character, a problem, often a rival, and the product at the turning point. The same catalog of stories also runs inside Claude and ChatGPT through the /microdrama-ads command of the Higgsfield MCP.
Everything below comes from Higgsfield's launch post, dated 6 November and read on 7 November. We have not generated an ad with it, so anything about quality is Higgsfield's claim, not our test.

What Higgsfield launched
Ads Studio opened in October 2026 for static ads. Micro Drama Ads is the video side of the same tool, not a separate app. The post lists:
- Eight video styles. Two are photoreal: Micro drama (live action, "shot like a film") and Cinematic story. The six others are stylized: Cartoon story, Claymation story, Talking object, Inside the body, Doll story and Crochet story.
- 44 story cards. Each card is a template with a finished example ad. Recreate makes a similar ad with your product. Micro drama has the most cards, 18.
- A brand kit and an avatar. Paste your website URL and Ads Studio fills in your brand and products. The avatar stays the same person across all your ads.
- No length limit. Higgsfield says it sets no cap on film length.
- Two places to run it. Ads Studio on the web, or Claude and ChatGPT with the Higgsfield MCP, where the assistant writes the script, makes the references and clips, and joins them into one film.

The story cards in Ads Studio are vertical, 9:16. Through Claude or ChatGPT you can ask for 16:9, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 21:9 instead. Captions are not added by default.
Why this is a filmmaking story, not only an ad story
Look at the structure Higgsfield sells. Its main card, Public Failure, is a hero who fails in public because of a problem, a rival who tries to sabotage the hero, and a product that beats the sabotage. That is the short-drama formula: a hook in the first seconds, a clear antagonist, a reversal, all in vertical frame. Our guide to making a short drama with AI breaks that format down episode by episode.
What Higgsfield adds is speed from brief to cut. The agent writes, casts and assembles. For a brand that needs ten variants of a 30-second ad, that is the right tool. For a series where the same rival has to come back in episode 40 with the same face, the hard part is not the first cut. It is the continuity: the same characters, the same places, the same light from one episode to the next. Higgsfield's answer is the avatar, one face that stays the same across ads. Our piece on character drift in AI video explains why a single face is the easy half, and what else has to hold.
What it costs
Higgsfield publishes the video rate: 3 credits per second at 480p, 7 at 720p and 16 at 1080p. A 60-second film at 1080p is 960 credits for the video. Higgsfield estimates a credit at about $0.049, based on $49 for 1,000 credits, which puts that minute at about $47.

Two details matter for your budget. In Ads Studio, each request to the agent also uses credits unless the model is set to Auto, which is free. And by default the agent starts generations without asking: switch the Allow menu to "Ask before generating" if you want to approve each paid step. In Claude and ChatGPT, Higgsfield credits go only to the generations, and the plan shows an estimated total before any paid step. Our AI video credits and budget planning guide shows how to plan rerolls before they surprise you.

ScreenWeaver does not make Micro Drama Ads, and Higgsfield's story cards do not live in ScreenWeaver. What the two share is the account. ScreenWeaver is rolling out a way to connect your Higgsfield account and run ScreenWeaver video nodes on your Higgsfield credits, on Auteur and Studio plans. Our guide on using your Higgsfield credits in ScreenWeaver covers the setup and the flat fee per run.
The split we would use: Ads Studio when the job is one product ad and many variants, and a script-and-storyboard tool when the job is a story that has to hold over many episodes. In ScreenWeaver the characters and places live as story elements that every shot cites, which is what keeps episode 40 looking like episode 1. If you want to see what the Higgsfield models do on a narrative shot, our Higgsfield models guide is the place to start.
Checklist before your first micro drama ad
- Write the reversal in one sentence before you open the tool: who fails, who sabotages, what turns it around.
- Set the Allow menu to "Ask before generating" for the first runs, so every paid step waits for you.
- Start at 480p. At 3 credits per second, a 30-second draft is 90 credits, against 480 at 1080p.
- Pick one avatar and keep it for the whole campaign. Note its name with the date.
- Ask for the format you will publish in: 9:16 is the default, other ratios only through Claude or ChatGPT.
- Check captions yourself. They are not added unless you ask.
- Log the credits of every version, including agent requests in Ads Studio.
