AI assistants and editors
Work on your script from your assistant
ScreenWeaver speaks the Model Context Protocol, the standard AI assistants use to work with other apps. Once connected, your assistant reads and edits your screenplay and builds storyboard shots in your project.
Claude
Add ScreenWeaver as a custom connector in Claude on the web or the desktop app, then write and rework scenes in the chat.ChatGPT
Create a ScreenWeaver app in ChatGPT’s developer mode and let it read your script, import a draft or cut a scene into shots.Claude Code
One terminal command adds the server. Handy when your screenplay lives in a Git repository as a Fountain file.Cursor
Write in Fountain next to your notes, then send the draft and the shot list to ScreenWeaver from Cursor’s agent.VS Code
Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json and use it from Copilot Chat in agent mode.Other MCP clients
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can connect with the same URL.
MCP access comes with the Auteur and Studio plans. Setup steps and the 25 tools

FAQ
Questions about ScreenWeaver integrations
Which AI assistants work with ScreenWeaver?
Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code, plus any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. The MCP page has the setup steps for each one.
Do I need an API key?
No. You paste the server URL, sign in with your ScreenWeaver account and choose the projects the assistant may open. You can revoke access at any time in Connected apps.
Which plans include the integrations?
The MCP connection comes with the Auteur and Studio plans. Import and export of screenplay files, and the free converters, do not need the MCP.
Can I import my Final Draft or Fountain script?
Yes. Your assistant imports Final Draft (.fdx), WriterDuet and Fountain files after a preview you can check, and the script before the import is saved in History. You can export .fdx and PDF from the editor.
Can I use the Works with ScreenWeaver badge?
Yes, if your tool really connects to ScreenWeaver. It is free, optional, and we do not ask for a link in return.
Is there an integration for n8n, Zapier or Figma?
Not yet. Today ScreenWeaver connects through MCP and standard screenplay files. If you need another integration, write to hello@screenweaver.ai.
