3. Purpose of the Service

ScreenWeaver is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing creative assistance tools for audiovisual writing and development, including but not limited to:

  • screenplay and story development assistance,
  • narrative structure and pacing tools,
  • AI-assisted text and visual generation,
  • storyboard, pitch, and project visualization tools,
  • export of creative and presentation materials.

The Service is provided strictly as a creative support tool.

4. Artificial Intelligence – Nature and Limitations

Content generated through ScreenWeaver:

  • is produced by algorithmic and probabilistic AI systems,
  • may contain errors, inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or unintended outputs,
  • does not constitute professional, legal, editorial, artistic, or commercial advice.

The User expressly acknowledges that:

  • generated outputs are not guaranteed to be unique, original, or legally exploitable,
  • the User remains fully responsible for reviewing, editing, validating, and verifying all generated content before any use or exploitation.

5. User Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for:

  • all content they input, upload, generate, export, or exploit using the Service,
  • ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations,
  • respecting third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, neighboring rights, trademarks, image rights, privacy, and confidentiality.

OUTERFRAME LABS performs no prior editorial control over User content.

6. Intellectual Property – Platform

All elements of the ScreenWeaver platform, including but not limited to:

  • software, source code, algorithms,
  • user interface, design, structure,
  • texts, graphics, logos, trademarks,
  • databases and functionalities,

are protected under intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization, is strictly prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property – User Content

7.1 User-Provided Content

The User retains full ownership of all rights to:

  • scripts, texts, ideas, prompts, images, files, and materials uploaded or created by the User.

The User warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the content they provide.

7.2 AI-Generated Content

Subject to applicable law:

  • content generated through ScreenWeaver may be used and exploited by the User,
  • without any guarantee of exclusivity,
  • without any guarantee of originality,
  • without any guarantee of non-similarity to existing or future works.

OUTERFRAME LABS shall not be held liable for:

  • any third-party claims,
  • any intellectual property disputes arising from the use or exploitation of generated content.

8. No Automatic Transfer of Rights

Use of ScreenWeaver does not result in any automatic transfer of intellectual property rights from OUTERFRAME LABS to the User regarding platform technologies.

Conversely, the User acquires no rights to the Service’s models, algorithms, systems, or internal logic.

9. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with:

  • the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
  • applicable French and European data protection laws.

Details regarding data collection, processing, and retention are provided in the Privacy Policy available on the Service.

10. Service Availability

OUTERFRAME LABS endeavors to ensure the availability of the Service but provides no guarantee of:

  • uninterrupted access,
  • error-free operation,
  • absence of bugs, failures, or data loss.

The Service may be suspended, modified, or interrupted at any time for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OUTERFRAME LABS shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • financial, commercial, artistic, or reputational losses,
  • loss of opportunity, revenue, or profits,
  • any consequences arising from the use or non-use of generated content.

In all cases, the total liability of OUTERFRAME LABS shall be strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by the User during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These legal notices are governed by French law.

In the absence of amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Strasbourg, France, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.

13. Modifications

OUTERFRAME LABS reserves the right to modify these legal notices at any time. Users are encouraged to review them regularly.
