invideo AI Review 2026: Agent Two, Prices and Limits

invideo AI builds a full edit from a script, but there is no free plan and credits expire. What each seat buys in Seedance clips and who should pay.

invideo AI is worth paying for if you publish explainers, ads or social videos every week and the edit matters more to you than the shot. Agent Two turns a script or an idea into a shot-by-shot plan and a finished cut on a real timeline, with stock, voices and avatars built in. It is a weaker buy for a film. There is no free plan, unused credits expire each month, the cheapest plan cannot use the best models, and nothing in the editor holds a screenplay.

If you are still comparing tools, our script-to-video tools comparison covers the field. The side-by-side table of invideo and ScreenWeaver is on the invideo alternative page. This review covers what each plan buys and what App Store reviewers report.

Every figure below comes from invideo.io/pricing and from the invideo listing on the US App Store, read on 27 October 2026.

The verdict

invideo is an agentic video editor. You direct it in plain language and it assembles the video: script, stock or generated shots, voiceover, music, captions. Agent Two comes in Lite, Pro and Ultra, remembers project details, edits across shots at once and picks the model for each shot. The timeline supports multiplayer editing with live cursors.

What invideo does well

A invideo AI product page, captured on 27 October 2026

A real timeline. Most AI video tools hand you clips. invideo hands you an edit you can change, with multiplayer editing, so a client or a colleague can fix a caption without exporting anything.

Everything for an explainer in one place. Premium stock footage, voice generation, voice cloning and avatars are built in. For a YouTube explainer or a UGC ad, you rarely leave the app.

Generated shots when you need them. Plus and Max include all Seedance models, Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and Seedance 2.0 at 4K, plus partner models invideo says it sells at their original API pricing.

Team seats. Up to 5 editors on Starter, 10 on Plus and 20 on Max, with free guest seats on Plus and Max.

Where invideo costs you

No free plan. The pricing page lists none. The page advertises promotions after sign-up, but no trial.

Starter is limited. Starter gets Agent Two Lite and only Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini. Seedance 2.5 starts on Plus.

Credits expire and can change. invideo states that unused credits do not roll over to the next month, and that it may update credit costs at any time without prior notice.

Per seat, billed yearly. The headline prices are per seat on yearly billing, shown as 50% off the monthly price. A team of three on Plus pays $90 a month on a yearly commitment, or $180 month to month.

No screenplay. The AI co-writer drafts scripts for videos, not screenplays: no screenplay format and no script file import.

Clip counts are invideo's own figures for 5-second clips: about 56 credits at 720p, 96 at 1080p and 24.5 in Draft. On Plus, that is roughly 3 minutes of Seedance 2.5 at 720p a month, or 100 seconds at 1080p, before any reroll. Storage is 200 GB, 600 GB and 2,000 GB, and premium stock allowances are 100, 200 and 500.

Images are cheap by comparison: about 2.5 credits for Nano Banana Pro and 0.4 for GPT Image 2.5.

The App Store sells its own set of plans and add-ons, including Plus at $30, Max at $72, a Generative plan at $143.99, Generative add-ons at $12 and $24, and Ads packs at $25 and $50.

What App Store reviewers say

Written reviews of invideo AI on the US App Store, captured on 27 October 2026

People like how fast a prompt becomes a narrated video and the real-time collaboration. In the visible reviews, the complaints are:

  1. VoiceOver gaps: buttons without labels and no audible feedback during generation, from a blind reviewer.
  2. Crashes during edits, and commands such as changing the music that do not take.
  3. Plan limits that make the app feel slightly overpriced.
  4. Trouble uploading your own phone videos.
  5. Output that feels like a narrated promo rather than a film, which is also what the tool is designed for.

Who should pick which plan

  • Starter works for stock-based explainers with light AI.
  • Plus is the realistic tier if you want Seedance 2.5 shots and guest reviewers.
  • Max is for teams publishing daily, with the lowest cost per credit.
  • Monthly billing doubles the price: commit yearly only after a month that proves the workflow.

Alternatives worth checking

If you want the shots rather than the edit, compare Runway, Kling and Pika. For campaign concepts on a shared board, see Luma Dream Machine.

Final verdict: invideo or ScreenWeaver?

invideo is the better pick for explainers, ads and social videos published on a schedule, where the timeline and the stock library do most of the work. If your project starts from a screenplay, ScreenWeaver is the stronger fit. Writing is free on the Screenwriter plan, with PDF and Final Draft export. The Auteur plan, at $39.99 a month, generates the storyboard from your screenplay and runs Seedance 2.5 by default on each shot, with your characters kept from shot to shot. The full comparison is on our invideo alternative page.
