AI Center
Edit with AI

0:00You have a story in your head. What you were missing until now was a crew, a budget, a set. With Screenweaver, you write, you decide, and AI produces everything else. In this complete tutorial, we take a single project, the photo, and follow it from start to finish, writing the script, generating the entire storyboard automatically, then producing every shot – as images and as video. By the end, you'll know the whole interface, and you'll be able to produce your own film. Let's start with a tour of the interface. At the top left, the project selector.
0:44This is where you create a new project, switch from one to another, and open the settings – the title, the format, feature film or series, and the aspect ratio. To get started, click New Project, and give it a title. Our story takes place in a parked car on a rainy night. Thomas hands his sister Emily an old photo of them as children, found at their mother's house. The very first time you log in, Screenweaver also opens a sample project, so you can explore without breaking anything.
1:15In the centre, the three tabs – Script, Storyboard, Production. That's the whole pipeline from left to right, and each step automatically feeds the next. On the right, the AI button opens the AI centre, the writing assistant, and the list of all your running generations. Next to it, the save status, which runs continuously, your credit balance, and the account menu, with billing and the guided tutorial. First tab, the script. The page is a real editor in professional format, in 12-point courier, with industry standard margins. The page is a real editor in professional format, in 12-point courier, with industry standard margins. The page is a real editor in professional format, in 12-point courier, with industry standard margins. Type your scene heading – interior, Thomas' car, night. Press enter, and Screenweaver moves on to the next element by itself. After the heading, the action. After a character name, the dialogue. The tab key cycles through the types – scene, action, character, dialogue, character, and character. Parenthetical, transition, shot. The floating toolbar at the bottom does the same thing with the mouse. On the left, the sidebar. The outline view shows the structure of your story in rows – episodes, acts, sequences, story beats, and scenes. Reorganize by drag and drop, and mark your key moments with labels – inciting incident, midpoint, climax. Already have a script? Open the AI centre, attach your final draft file, and simply ask to import it. The assistant rebuilds everything, structure included. They can also proofread, rewrite a scene, or give you its opinion. And every change made by the AI can be undone in one click. And you're not alone. Invite your collaborators, as editors or viewers, and write together in real time, with everyone's cursor on screen.
3:27Screenweaver While you write, Screenweaver spots your characters, your locations, and your objects. Right-click on a name, new character, and Emily becomes an entity. Same gesture for Thomas' car, or for the photo. Each entity has its own card in story elements. Write a description a camera can film. The age, the haircut, the coat, the colour of the scarf. Not a personality trait, a face. And add your reference images to the mood board. This is the most important step of the whole tutorial. These descriptions drive the visual consistency of the entire film. Emily will have the same face in the first shot and in the last. Let's move to the storyboard tab. The first time you open it, choose the project's aspect ratio. 16 by 9 for cinema and YouTube, 9 by 16 for mobile and short dramas, or cinematic widescreen. The screen is split into four areas. On the left, your characters, locations, and objects. In the centre, the selected shot. On the right, your script, synced with playback.
4:44And at the bottom, the sequencer. The film, scene by scene, shot by shot. Click auto-generate. One single window, three steps. 1. The reference sheets for every character, location, and object. 2. The shot breakdown. The AI reads each scene and decides on its own how many shots it needs, with the shot value and the camera movement. 3. The image for each shot. Click run all. Up to three tasks run in parallel. The credit cost is shown before every action, and you can close the window. Everything keeps running in the AI centre. And there it is. From the script alone, the whole storyboard is ready. Each panel is a 3D blocking pass, just like studio pre-visualization. It locks the framing, the staging, and the lighting, without fixing the final style. Press play. The storyboard runs like an animatic, and the text follows alongside. You stay in control of every shot. Select it, change the shot value or the camera movement, rewrite the action by mentioning your entities with the at sign, and regenerate that shot alone. Adjust its duration by dragging the edge of the panel, and reorder shots with drag and drop.
6:00Two shots need to match. The continues from field links a shot to the previous one. It inherits its settings, and continuity is preserved from one image to the next. For a precise touch-up, use Edit with AI. Paint an area and describe the change. Crop or change the camera angle without redoing everything.
