  • Birkaç beat'in neden tek bir sahneyi paylaşabildiği

0:04The outline is built. Now we go down one level, from beats to scenes. Each beat holds one or more scenes, the units you actually write.

0:15Switch the script view back on. Under each beat, you'll write the scenes that make it happen. Here's the flow, keyboard only. After a structure element, like a story beat, press enter. You get its outline line. Write the description, press enter on an empty line, and Screenweaver gives you the next level down. After a beat, that's a scene heading.

0:38Under the rule, exterior, the jetty, night. Under he lets her on, interior, the ferry cabin, night. Under the engine dies, exterior, the ferry deck, night. Each heading you write appears as a scene card in the outline, under its beat.

0:59Let's finish the job for the night ferry. Under who are you, the fourth scene. Interior, the ferry cabin, night, later. The same place as before, at a later time. And under home, the last one. Exterior, the island, harbor, dawn. Five scenes under seven beats. Some beats share a scene, which is completely normal. The engine dies, and who are you happen back to the back in the fog.

1:28Now the scenes have headings, write them, one after the other, with everything you learned in section two. Or, if you want to compare with mine, paste the full script of the night ferry from the resources, and read it next to your outline.

1:42One more tool, for the research and the inspiration you collect along the way, attachments. Every element in the outline has a paperclip in its header. Attach a note, an image, or a link to any card. The photo of an old ferry, a reference for the yellow raincoat, a note on the father and daughter backstory.

2:02Hover an attachment for a quick preview, or click it to open it in a floating window that you can move and resize, so your references stay next to the page while you write.

2:12Your exercise. Under each of your beats, write the scene headings of its scenes, and attach at least one reference image to the story. Next, we write one full scene live, from the outline to the last line.
