0:04You have a finished draft. Before you send it into the world, one last pass, and then we export.
0:11The Polish checklist. Read the whole script out loud, every line of dialogue. And cut anything that sounds written. Check that every scene changes something, or cut it. Check that every name, every place is spelled the same way everywhere. And check the length, a page per minute.
0:31Then export. Export. Open Import -slash -Export in the sidebar, and the Export tab. Three formats. PDF, the standard screenplay page, ready to send to anyone. FDX, for final draft, if a collaborator works there. And the ScreenWeaver Backup, which keeps the full script, the outline, the characters, and the story beat labels. Choose the content to export. Include the outline if you want your structure in the document. And export.
1:00While you're there, switch on Auto Backup. ScreenWeaver will export a backup of the project every 30 minutes.
1:07To share the project itself, not just a file, open the Project menu and Team and Sharing. Invite a co -writer, a director, or a producer, and they work in the same script, the same outline, the same story elements.
1:21If you share your script for feedback, ask readers precise questions, not, do you like it? Where did you get bored? What did you think would happen at the midpoint? Which line do you remember? The answers will show you exactly where to rewrite.
1:37And now, what's next? Your script is the foundation of everything else in ScreenWeaver. In the Storyboard tab, every scene becomes shots. Your story elements become reference sheets. And step by step, your pages become a film. That's part two of the pipeline, and the subject of my other free courses.
1:57Let's sum up. You learned the format, the elements, and the keyboard flow. You learned to find a log line, build an outline, and label your story beats. You learned to use the assistant to brainstorm, write, rewrite, and import. And you adapted it all to films, series, and short dramas.
2:17Thank you for following this course. Write the story only you can tell. And when it's ready, I'd love to see what you make with it.
